7th Sustainment Brigade

The 7th Sustainment Brigade has supported many U.S. and foreign missions as well as humanitarian efforts over its history, starting with involvement in World War Two after its activation in 1942. After service in the Korean War and then deployments to Grenada and Panama in the years after, the 7th was active during Operations Desert Shield and Storm from 1990-91, then in Saudi Arabia during the Kuwait conflict. In the following years, the brigade served in the Port of Mogadishu, Kenya, and Haiti in relief efforts, all in 1994. 1995 saw support of Bosnia and Hungary. The unit has been awarded several decorations for its services and continues to support Fort Eustis.

833rd Transportation Bn, 597th Transportation Bde

The 597th Transportation Brigade and subordinate unit, the 833rd Transportation Battalion, are located at Eustis, but the brigade has several other detachments around the country at different bases. It is a part of the U.S. Army Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC).
